My Girlfriends vagina is bleeding.?

My Girlfriend is bleeding out of her agina and she has her period about two weeks ago. She says its not bleeding like her period but when she went to the bathroom it was a lot. I have fingered her and there was blood on my hand yesterday after fingering her. Is she okay? Does she need to go tot he doctor?
