Whouldn't some1 who actually spoke Hebrew pronounce Zachariah "Zecharyhu" , & Elijah is "Eliyahu", right?

or is it Zecharihu & Elihu? Is the E in Eliyahu like in elastic or like elephant Spell it litterally and phoneticly please ty so much
