Should I read The Tales of Beedle The Bard before or after I read Harry Potter 7?

I am curious because I have been able to keep the ending a secret for all this time. I have just finished Harry Potter 6 and I am choosing not to read number 7 until I see the last movie but I would like to read something else in the mean time and so I was wondering if The Tales of Beedle the Bard would give away any of the ending or if it will be a safe read. Also just as a personal preference of if you think it would be better to read before or after number 7? Thanks bunches and please be respectful of my decision and desire not to know the ending
