GIRLS OR BOYS: Please help me i dont know what to do?!?

im a freshmen in hs and the boy i like is a sophomore. I look for 4 things in a guys: good looks, funny, sweet, and trustworthy. Now this sophmore is gorgeous, very funny, the sweetes boy ive ever met, and the only boy ive ever trusted. For months we would text. He would ask me for advice and tell me things and id always help him. He told my friend that i was the only person he really trusted and that i know more about him then even his best friends. He even told me that he likes talking to me because i dont judge him and im always here for him. Then 3 months went by without us talking. Now when i try to text him he wont answer me.. then one day he did answer me and i asked why he doesnt talk to me anymore and he said he lost my number.. but he hasnt gotten a new phone.. and one day he said he memorized my number.. I really dont know what to do he seems so different now but i know if i could get him to answer me i could break through to him again.. But he always ignores me and i refuse tot alk to him in person cause thats just too scary to me plus i never see him.. WHAT SHOULD I DO!? ):
