How would you pronounce "Galja" (or better yet, does it have a meaning in any language? xD)?

It's just a random name that came to me for a water-based character I have, but when I searched it up afterward I found out it's apparently a real name/word/something... but really obscure. So it'd be sweet if I could find out the real definition of it. o: Hopefully not something crude... lol.
