How can i prevent my period?

okay i kid you alll not EVERY vacation ive gone on, EVERY SINGLE VACATION, ive gotten my peirod. again im kidding you not. and my cousins grad is in a couple days and im driving up tot NY and i have the symptoms of my period coming. what can i do, to either one prevent it or make it not hurt or bleed as badly. i need as many ideas, as possible. i REALLY dont want my period, its always a bother. please anything!
