Embezzlement question?

I'm having trouble making end meet recently so I figure i could drive business to where I work and make a little extra money for myself. I was going to basically go door to door asking if people would like the services our company provides in my free time. I would quote them a price slightly higher then what my company charges and give the res tot myself. I would not directly involve the company and would act as sort of a middle man. I was telling this to a friend and he told me that this is embezzlement. Is this true?
